◆ sdc_hci_cmd_vs_min_conn_event_length_mode_enable()

uint8_t sdc_hci_cmd_vs_min_conn_event_length_mode_enable ( const sdc_hci_cmd_vs_min_conn_event_length_mode_enable_t * p_params)

#include <sdc_hci_vs.h>

Enable the minimum connection event length mode.

After this API is called, the controller will only allocate time to TX an empty packet in the connection event.

This allows smaller connection event length and connection interval values. When enabled on the central, there is a chance to starve the peripheral of opportunities to send data. This will happen if the central is consistently sending full length packets. To avoid this, it is recommended to use sdc_hci_cmd_vs_min_val_of_max_acl_tx_payload_set() to set a value lower than 27 when possible to ensure the peripheral has time to send data.

When enabled on the peripheral, sdc_hci_cmd_vs_min_val_of_max_acl_tx_payload_set() will no longer take effect and the peripheral will use the remaining time in a connection event to send as much data as possible. If the central is consistently sending full length packets, there is a chance the peripheral will be starved of time to send data.

The configured value is retained after issuing an HCI Reset command.

Event(s) generated (unless masked away):

When the command has completed, an HCI_Command_Complete event shall be generated.
