Samples and tests

The Edge AI Add-on repository provides samples and tests showcasing its functionality. You can build them for a variety of board targets and configure them for different usage scenarios.

Samples are in the samples directory, and tests are in the tests directory.

The samples are grouped by workflow, including deploying models from Nordic Edge AI Lab, running inference on the Axon NPU, integrating Edge Impulse, and collecting sensor data for model training.

• nRF Edge AI samples overview - Deploy Nordic Edge AI Lab models (regression, classification, anomaly) with the nRF Edge AI runtime.

• Edge Impulse samples - Integrate Edge Impulse models and run inference with the Edge Impulse SDK.

• Axon NPU samples and tests - Run models on the Axon NPU, including low-power operation, and validate Axon functionality with dedicated tests.

• Other samples - Stream sensor data to Data Forwarder Host tool or Edge Impulse’s data forwarder CLI.
